Synopsis:

Students will gain an understanding of the critical importance of user interface and user experience design. Students will also learn industry-standard methods for how to approach the design of a user interface and key theories and frameworks that underlie the design of most interfaces we use today.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Describe the main theories of design of user interfaces.
  2. Identify interaction design patterns and their applicability. 
  3. Develop an appropriate interaction design pattern for a particular app user interface situation with targeted users.
  4. Create a user interface prototype from mobile apps communication perspective.
