Through a series of studio-based assessment tasks and in-class studies, students will learn critical and conceptual problem solving techniques in addition to ‘traditional’, non-digital, technical graphic design creation skills and techniques. Within this module students will also begin to develop their own visual language and style, resolve key issues of visual representation and gain better knowledge in graphic media.

  1. Create visually engaging and thought-provoking graphics.
  2. Apply experimental, accidental, visual research and design analytical approaches in mark / image making process.
  3. Resolve graphic design problems by using critical and conceptual processes.
  4. Develop a personal visual language and style across a range of graphic media and techniques.
