Synopsis:
This course will develop students computing skills in the areas of page layout, digital drawing, image manipulation and imagery composition and effects. Through a series of studio based exercises assessment tasks and in class studies, students will develop their computing skill for design. Computer programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop will be used in this class.

- Demonstrate appropriate use of colour spaces, image resolution and file size
- Create digital illustrations and images across vector and raster formats
- Execute image editing, colour correction and photo-retouching through digital manipulation
