IDR. MOHD KHEDZIR BIN KHAMIS

Programme Director of Interior Design; Senior Lecturer of Raffles University

IDr. Mohd Khedzir is the Programme Director of Interior Design Programme at Raffles University (RU). He has 25 years in both industry and academic experiences involving with commercial, hospitality and corporate design as an interior designer and design project coordinator. In academics, he has majoring in museum spatial design, circulation design and also involves in heritage studies. He did quite a few academic research pieces and published in several journal and proceedings.

 

Despite his involvements as an academician, he also obtained a professional registered interior designer with Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) and a  Corporate Members from Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID). He also has been elected as an accreditation panel member of Council of Architectural Accreditation and Education Malaysia (CAEM) Board of Architect Malaysia for Interior Design Programme in auditing and reviewing an interior design courses offered by universities in Malaysia.

MS ALEKSANDRA VENKOVA

Lecturer of Raffles University

Originally from Bulgaria, Ms. Aleksandra lived and studied in the UK, she worked as an interior designer, interior stylist and marketing executive for a design and built studio. Some of her responsibilities included: executing unique, high-end residential and commercial projects from concept through to completion, project management as well as placing orders and overseeing the installation of design elements.

 

Ms Aleksandra oversaw styling, staging and photographing projects for marketing and PR purposes, leading different companies’ social media platforms and assisting in arranging networking activities and visits to design exhibitions across Europe. She also led a successful interior design blog, providing many insights, advice and recommendations from the design and built industry.

 

Ms. Aleksandra’s projects and articles have been recognized and published in major design blogs, journals and magazines in the UK, including Grand Designs, Country Homes & Interiors, Period Living, Hospitality Interiors and more.
